March 9 outreach
It was a beautiful sunny day with a nice chill; a very pleasant day to serve.
However, it was bit of a somber day as a few of our friends went home to be with the Lord and others recovering from major health issues. Some of our friends were still mourning the loss of family and friends.
Our focus was on the Peace of the Lord today. We wanted to remind them happiness is not the promise but happiness and joy was the promise and that turning and trusting Jesus through these troubling times can bring them peace which can lead to joy.
We prayed heavily into many tough situations. We directed 1person to a rehab and provided tents, sleeping bags, clothes and food. Today one the most beautiful things I seen: there is a person who has refused prayer for years, but today she wanted prayer. She waited for a certain prayer warrior to come free so that person could prayer for her particular need.
We are starting to see tangible evidence of the presence of Lord in our area. Nearly 3 years ago when we started this outreach, God's direction was to bring his presence to this area.
Love is flowing in our little corner of the world that we shepherd.
