February 24 outreach

Today was a day filled with great weather, great people, and lots of testimony. We are seeing the fruits of our labor and hearing the testimonies of Jesus working in people's lives.  

Testimonies included dates to start back to school, back taxes paid, housing, jobs, and restoration of family. 

Our theme was hope and our verse today was: 

And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. 1 John 3:3

We prayed hope into our friends. In a sense, we were "hope dealers" today.  Whether it was to restore their hope or create new hope, hope was the theme. 

Along with prayer and friendship we had a delicious meal. Food included meatloaf, mac&cheese, and peach cobbler. We also provided dog food, clothing, and outdoor supplies.
