June 3 Outreach

We never doubted God would provide good weather for us today and it seems the gloominess was there untiil outreach started and then the sun started to shine brightly. 

Today's word was:

"Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares for you". 1st Peter 5:7 

With all the disruption and change they are facing daily with the city continually moving them with no direction, they have an even greater sense that they don't matter.  

Today God wanted us to prove to them that they mattered to Him and that He wants them to draw closer to Him.  

We fed many people and clothed everyone who showed up. All but 1 wanted and accepted prayer.  We distributed multiple Bibles. You will see in one picture that we were even reading it with some.  

While are friends see a bleakness in the moment, I see hope and change. I see the Holy Spirit moving: another friend went to rehab and another leaves Monday. That will make 7 in the last month. That is huge and all because of the Holy Spirit.
