June 17, 2023 Outreach

Today's word:
      "This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!”
      ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭17‬ 

This is to serve as a reminder that many of our friends have accepted Christ and they know Christ. However nothing has changed. Why because they are still giving in to old habits. I believe today we were supposed to remind them that they are new creations in Christ. And since Christ is in them,  He is here to help them defeat old habits. Just call on Him. Proof He wants to help is that He continues to send us here. Today we're to remind them of that.

We served lots of food donated from Belle Isle Restaurant and lots of clothes and hygiene donated by Wings. 

Many prayers were prayed. We were able to meet both spiritual and physical needs which is why we do this.
