July 13 Outreach

I wanted to share a heartwarming experience from today—a testament to the power of faith and community.

Two years ago, we met Jennifer, who initially expressed skepticism about prayer. Her first words to us were, “If I have to have prayer to get food, I don’t want it.” Over time, though, she softened, allowing us to pray with her. Today, we witnessed a beautiful transformation: Jennifer prayed for another friend and referred to Carolyn and Ketti as her sisters in Christ. It’s incredible how God works through us.

Additionally, Moma Lety’s Mexican restaurant generously provided a delicious meal for Quiso Rojo. The owner and his entire family participated, serving with joy and enthusiasm. The sense of community was palpable.

Our guiding verse for the day was Exodus 15:13: “With your unfailing love, you lead the people you have redeemed. In your might, you guide them to your sacred home.” This reminds us to trust God during trials and lean into our relationship with Him.

May we continue to be vessels for His love and grace.
