July 14th Outreach
In Oklahoma City — Our word today was a familiar but beautiful word:
““But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you? You of little faith! Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’”
Matthew 6:30-31
He sees His children have needs and He has sent His children to serve His children. We are all the same in God's eyes. This is a complete privilege to be chosen for this mission today. Because of the faithfulness of this team, God's faithfulness of provision can be carried out.
The meat was provided by the Holy Smokers Life Church Mustang. Sides and dessert was provided by All Saints Community Church and volunteers. Hygiene products were provided by Wings A Special Needs Community. Clothing was donated by everyone.
There were so many new faces today. The heat is taking its toll on our friends and we are so thankful we were able to provide a little relief. We were able to show Jesus through some food and water. Prayer was asked for today and it was needed. We may never see the results of what our prayers do, however, as Carolyn reminded us. Today we have no idea what they (our prayers) are doing in the Spirit world.
This group Loves Jesus and loves our friends as Jesus loves us.
