August 10 Outreach Grace and Provision

I was reminded of a powerful truth that resonates deeply within our community: God always provides us a window. Despite the inclement weather, our journey was not hindered. It may have been a tad slower than usual, but it was precisely the pace the Lord intended for us. This slight delay allowed us to encounter exactly those He wanted us to meet, affording us the opportunity to pray and foster deeper connections with the people around us.

Our guiding scripture for the day was from Hebrews 4:16: “So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.”

Yet, it was Hebrews 4:15 that truly anchored our mission, reminding us that we have the ultimate High Priest in Jesus. He has walked in our shoes, experienced our struggles, and understands our journey, enabling Him to empathize with our human experience.

As we shared a meal of delicious chicken and rice, complemented by fresh veggies and a sweet dessert, we were filled with gratitude. We were also able to provide water, pet food, clothing, and hygiene products to those in need, further extending the grace we’ve received.

Let us continue to approach God’s throne with confidence, knowing that in our time of need, His grace is sufficient for us. May we also extend that grace to others, serving as a beacon of His love in our community.
