Perfection! Today was pure perfection and not just the weather!
1 John 5:4
And today we were concentrating on why we have our faith... And telling our friends why. We also felt this verse was to remind us why we are all an amazing example of Loving Others as Jesus Loves Us. We also have to be sure they know who Jesus is. So as we prayed with them, we asked if they did know it was Him who sent us to take of them. And verified they knew who Jesus was.
People were coming non stop today. People are hungry. But today I seen tangible proof that they come for more than supplies and food; they come to feel the presence of Jesus. They want prayers. Today we were so busy that as I looked around for people to pray for our friends, everyone was with someone helping them. So I asked our friends to wait till people were freed up so we could pray for them...and they did wait! Not one left that I asked to wait. They all stayed. I am in awe of what I am seeing -- causing us to want to push further and deeper. Miracles are now normal for our group and our friends expect them.
